Skype has now made possible to make video calls to Facebook friends, if you have linked your Facebook and Skype accounts together. This is a free feature and was launched in Skype Beta version for both PCs and MACs.
Since their friendship in July, Facebook and Skype have proved to be great friends. Facebook allowed users to makeSkype powered video calls in Facebook and also Skype added instant Facebook chatting feature in it’s software.
However, there wasn’t a way for video calling in Skype. The gap is now filled. Now users can easily call their Facebook buddies right from Skype and need not visit Facebook to have a video chat with their friends.

Well, its not only video chatting in Skype. Facebook users can now update status, like and comment right from Skype! This move certainly takes Skype one step closer to Facebook. Right?
The latest Skype Beta version comes with updated video rendering for smoother video streaming. Also users can share their screen with the other while the video streams. Also group screen sharing is possible if you have a premium Skype account.
It is pretty simple for users to make a call. Just connect your Skype and Facebook accounts, search for a Facebook friend on Skype and hit the call button. A screen pops into your friend’s Facebook wall where he can attend the call and there goes it. You two can have talks to your hearts content.
