Underworld: Awakening (also known as Underworld 4) is a 2012 American 3D action horror film directed by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein. It is the fourth installment in the Underworld film series, with Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as Selene. Sandrine Holt, Michael Ealy, andIndia Eisley appeared in new roles to the series. Filming began March 2011 in Vancouver, British Columbia.[3] The film was released in Digital 3D, IMAX 3D and 2D theatres on January 20, 2012.
When human forces discover the existence of the Vampire and Lycan clans, a war to eradicate both species commences. The vampire warrioress Selene leads the battle against humankind.
